It’s Open the First Drugstore specializing in cosmeceuticals, hygiene, and personal care products

The first pharmacy specializing in cosmeceuticals, hygiene, and personal care products—named “The Park’s Drugstore”—was inaugurated on September 8th in the city of Holguin. It is the result of a collaboration between new economic actors. Such as the Galas FENIX SURL store chain, and the Provincial Pharmacy and Optical Company (FARMOX).

This new type of pharmacy is located at the corner of Frexes and Miró streets in the city center. Following renovations and outfitting, it will sell a wide variety of products. Including fragrances, serums, creams, cosmetics, blood pressure monitors, adhesive bandages, and adult diapers, among others.

According to Arley Leyva González, administrator of the Galas Fénix store chain, this business promotes natural well-being and personal care.

“We will offer merchandise as well as a small food and beverage selection. Such as natural juices, fruit salads, teas, and other health-beneficial products. Payments will be accepted in national currency and through the corresponding electronic channels. We will stock authorized products that align with the pharmacy’s scope of business, including natural-use items.”

Also the staff working at the location have pharmaceutical training. According to Tania Moreno Marrero, a pharmacy services specialist and the facility’s administrator. “We plan to introduce naturally produced medications. Such as soothing remedies, syrups, and cosmetics, alongside other items. The staff are employed by our company, FARMOX, including the baristas who will prepare the food and drinks. We will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,” she concluded.

Galas FENIX SURL is a company that has maintained a stable presence in the local market for over three years. It encompasses several local businesses. Also such as El Regente, the Gemita children’s ice cream parlor, and La Parrillita. As well as accommodation services and ventures involving other self-employed workers. The company is venturing into retail sales of natural products, with the goal of soon expanding its offerings to the wholesale market.
