“We can increase arrivals from countries with direct connections, especially in Latin America, China, and Europe.
“We must continue working on providing information, quick answers, and direct communication with agencies, tour operators, and airlines. As well as with our clients.”
And he concludes: “I believe a fundamental strategy is to increase revenue per tourist, not just the number of arrivals. Therefore, we must shift from asking ‘How many tourists arrived?’ to ‘How much economic value did each tourist contribute?’”
