Rodríguez attributes new SEN outage to US hostility

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez recently stated that the latest outage of the National Electric System (SEN) is a direct consequence of the energy blockade. And the intensification of the US economic, financial, commercial, and energy embargo against the archipelago.

In a message posted on the social network X, the head of Cuban diplomacy maintained that this policy is part of a “collective punishment of the Cuban people.” Considering that the US government is pursuing this strategy with the purpose of “destroying the Cuban Revolution.”

Rodríguez also assured that the Communist Party and the Government are maintaining efforts to restore the operation of the National Electric System.

“Our Party and Government, together with the valiant electrical workers, will continue working permanently for the restoration of the SEN. And its gradual improvement,” the Foreign Minister stated in his post.

The latest blackout of the National Electric System caused power outages in various parts of the country. While the relevant authorities continue their efforts to restore the system.
