Transforming the education sector and ensuring that the 2024-2025 school year begins satisfactorily, despite all the social and economic problems the country is going through, is the main objective of the Municipal Preparatory Seminar, which recently took place in Cacocum.
During the opening of the seminar, Dixan Mojena Arzuaga, Director General of Education in the territory, said: “we are entering the 2024-2025 course with a development projection that is increasingly coherent with the bases of the National Plan for social economic development until 2030, which is concretized for us in the continuous project of the National Education System.
Mojena added that the next course has the challenge of impacting on the gradual recovery of the economy due to the existing difficult circumstances.
The seminar had, within its main topics, the contextualization of the strategic project of the Ministry of Education linked to the continuous improvement of its general system in the territory and the preventive educational work of the municipal structure and its concretion in the institutional educational project.
On the other hand, topics about the political-ideological work in the current context of the school as a coordinating center of all educational influences on children, adolescents and young people in the community, as well as self-improvement, professional training and pedagogical professional guidance were discussed.
During the meeting, work commissions led by education professionals in Cacocum were formed, which presented important topics related to the search for solutions to strengthen the educational work at all levels and to improve the teaching-educational process from the professional and academic field.
The papers presented stood out for being objective and addressing relevant topics to strengthen the work of teachers of different levels of education, from preschool to adult education.
