Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero visited on Wednesday the municipality of Antilla, in the eastern province of Holguín, to evaluate the progress of programs of economic and social interest in that territory.
The head of government went to the port of Antilla where he reviewed the government’s responses to the concerns of that collective raised during his previous visit last March, CubaVisión channel’s Noticiero del Mediodía reported.
Marrero urged the directors of that entity to continue finding solutions to improve the technical condition of the naval means, the repair of the docks, among other problems.
Likewise, Marrero called to banish work mechanisms that favor accommodation, bureaucracy and inefficiency in business management in order to take advantage of the potential of local productive systems.
