With the slogan “I chose to educate”, the XXXII National Forum of University Students of Pedagogical Sciences is being held at the University of Holguin (UHo for its Spanish acronym), with the aim of encouraging scientific training in Higher Education, through researches that contribute to the solution of social and technological problems and to acquire knowledge related to the pedagogical sphere.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and the University Student Federation, the event welcomes representatives from 17 Cuban universities, who will exchange throughout the week in the virtual modality and present the results of 145 researches.
“Students of Pedagogical Sciences have in their hands, as future education professionals, the formation of every citizen of this country”, highlighted PhD. Francisca Arranz Aranda, methodologist of the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation of the UHo, when she announced the thematic lines and the program of the event. Meanwhile, the inaugural conference of the event was in charge of PhD. Alejandro Torres Gómez de Cádiz Hernández, CITMA delegate in the province.
The Forum of Students of Pedagogical Sciences will be held until June 7, with the premise that future teachers can improve their theoretical and practical tools, with which to better understand the processes of teaching and learning.
