Satiricón Festival of Humor for Young People will return from February 22 to March 2 to its usual venue, the Eddy Suñol Theater in the city of Holguín, to meet again with one of the most faithful audiences in the country.
The opening show, scheduled for Thursday 22nd at 8:00 p.m., will feature Otto Ortiz, Kike Quiñones, Michel Pentón, Eleuterio González (Pipe) and Etcétera.
As a special ingredient of the first day, the performance of “Los Guayaberos”, a group founded by the “king of double meaning”, Faustino Oramas, winner of the 2002 National Humor Award, stands out.
Satiricón returns to Holguín
The Satiricón program also includes the shows “Más juntos que revueltos y Etcétera”, with the host group, and “Por humor a la verdad”, with Otto Ortiz, Pipe and the Dúo Caricare of Holguín natives Onelio Escalona and Mireya Abreu, the latter, winners of the award for Best Script staged at the Aquelarre 2023 Awards.

Meanwhile, clown and humorist Yuri Rojas with his acclaimed “Zoila Bárbara” will join actors Eider Pérez, Yasser Velázquez and Luis Ángel Batista (members of Etcétera) in “Cuatro por cuatro es diez”.
The closing show, scheduled for March 2, will feature Etcétera, Yuri Rojas, Capitán Diez, Kike Quiñones, Profesor Mentepollo and Caricare.
Satiricón will return to Holguín
Satiricón 2024, in defense of intelligent humor made by young people, reserves moments for reflection and the traditional friendly softball match with the Holguin press team.
In this edition, the event will pay tribute to the Suñol Theater on its 85th anniversary and to the Centro Promotor del Humor (Humor Promotion Center), whose three decades will be celebrated next October.
