
In a game worthy of a final, the Colosos squad of Urbano Noris won over (4-2) the team of Héctor Molina sugar mill from Mayabeque province, in the start of the match for the national crown of the Cuban Sugar Baseball League in its XLI call.

The Colosos, playing as visitors at the José Luis García Lima stadium in San Nicolás de Bari, took the lead in the third inning on Edward Magaña’s two-run home run against left-handed starter Darian Alonso.
In the seventh inning, the locals scored one run against starter Carlos Alberto Santiesteban, and in the eighth inning, they negotiated a tie against fast reliever Fank Navarro, pushed by a long triple by the third man in the lineup Yonal Colomina.
A golden hit by the versatile Laindel Leiva in the ninth episode pushed two runs to the home plate, enough to break the tie and decide the game, with an erreor apiece.
The victory went to Navarro (7-0) and Henry Mulet took the setback.
The second and third games of this final will be played this Saturday 11 and Sunday 12, always starting at 10:00 a.m. and at the Mayabequense facility itself, a best-of-four series.
The remaining games, until one team reaches the four wins needed to grab the crown, will be played at Rogelio Pupo Ricardo Stadium in San German between Friday 17 and Monday 20 of this month.
