Workers at the Heroes of July 26 Mechanical Company (Holmeca) in Holguin are assembling new model of electric tricycles. As part of their projects through production chains.
According to the company’s social media page, Holmeca is assembling the Vedca brand C-600 tricycles. Which offer new possibilities and comforts for transporting cargo and passengers.
The project stems from an alliance with the Caribbean International Economic Association of Electric Vehicles. The tricycles are purchased through the Islagrande platform and picked up at Holmeca’s headquarters.
Among the benefits of this model are a gel battery, a tool kit, spare parts. A double cabin that protects from sun and rain, manual tipping, ample cargo space. Also comfortable and foldable seats, and a commercial warranty. Other technical features enhance the customer experience, such as a top speed of 39 kilometers per hour. A 600-kilogram load capacity, steel wheels, a remote-controlled alarm, and a 60-volt, 1200-watt motor.
This mechanical engineering company’s main lines of business include the production of agricultural implements for Tabacuba. Trailers used for airport waste collection, the assembly of Belarusian tractors, and the manufacture of parts to order for foreign industries.
Holmeca reaffirms its mission by supplying agricultural entities with tractors, attachments, and other services. That foster commercial linkages within the region, promoting production and import substitution.
