Holguin troubadour Fernando Cabreja’s “High Tide Club” will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary. A date that the City of Parks will not miss.
At a press conference, Cabreja shared all the details of the celebration. Which will take place next Thursday, October 9th at 3:00 p.m. at the Trova’s House El Guayabero.
The troubadour will be waiting for the Holguin audience alongside singer-songwriter Freddy Laffita, as a special guest. As well as the members of the ” Troubadours’ Fair ” project, Manuel Leandro Sánchez and Lianet Velázquez. Also Camilo de la Peña, Lay Verdecia, Edelys Loyola, and Edelita Cabreja.
According to the host of the event, there will be no shortage of important musical pieces from his career, such as “Song of Discouragement,” “High Tide,” and “You Came Back to Me”.” And prose will also converge with the presence of local literary figures such as José Luis Serrano, Ronel González, and Reynaldo Zaldívar.
Also José Luis Figueiras, on behalf of the Cuban cultural and commercial society Artex, the center that sponsors the High Tide Club. Spoke about the support for troubadours so that trova has the place it deserves in culture.
The beloved troubadour Fernando Cabreja has several venues in the city that establish him as the leader of trova in Holguin. An artistic career marked by his dedication and passion for trova, culture, and his loyal audience.
