Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Park, better known as San José Park, will host the Symphony Festival 2025 this Saturday, October 4th. Starting at 6:30 p.m., a concert-show featuring the Holguin Symphony Orchestra.
Under the artistic and general direction of Maestro Oreste Saavedra, the project invites visitors each year to celebrate art in all its forms alongside various collectives. Guest artists, and students from the Holguin Art Education program.
For over an hour, the public will be able to enjoy a wealth of Holguin art, with the presence of the ballet department and new musicians from the Elementary School of Art. Also the vocal quartet Feelings Voices, the Words to the Wind Oral Storytelling Company. The ARTCOR project, several local soloists, and the Symphony Orchestra as host.
The Symphonic Festival is a unique project of its kind in the country, created in 2015 by maestro Oreste Saavedra. Since then, it has aimed to bring art to Holguin families. Always in conjunction with artistic education, which is seen as a great opportunity for young artists.
