Next Friday, October 3rd, the version of “Ella Baila” by popular Holguin singer Danhiel. Considered the most pop-oriented of Cuban singers, will be presented on international digital platforms.

Written by composer José Ernesto Hernández especially for Danhiel, the song “Ella Baila” (“ She dances”) was so popular in the following days its television premiere that it was broadcast daily during Cuban radio and television’s summer programming.
With “Ella Baila,” Danhiel won the first Lucas Award for a Holguin native. For which he is still remembered today.
During a dinner hosted by Cuban leader Fidel Castro in Havana to celebrate the arrival of the 21st century. The singer Danhiel was one of the special guests, along with luminaries of Cuban singing such as Omara Portuondo and Rosita Fornés, among others.
At that dinner, it was revealed that Fidel also liked the song “Ella Baila,” presented in a beautiful video clip on the CubaVisión channel. Featuring a display of talent in both singing and dancing by Danhiel.
