Holguin peasants are getting ready for the XIII Cuban Farmers Congress (ANAP for its Spanish acronym), to be held between May 15 and 17, 2025.
This process, whose motto is “Strengthened, united and productive”, will be a special motivation to strengthen the economic and productive front as the core of their work.
This meeting will be contained within the activities for the 65th anniversary of the signing of the First Land Reform Law, the 63rd anniversary of the constitution of ANAP and the 78th anniversary of the assassination of Niceto Pérez García.
On the eve of the XIII Congress of the peasant organization, Holguin farmers are abandoned to its preparation at grassroots level, in such sense, Ernesto Reynaldo Romero, president of ANAP in the municipality of Holguin, commented to Radio Angulo Digital:
“In the head municipality, this process is strengthened by meeting with all the cooperativists, we hold meetings in order to analyze their concerns. In all of them, the call for productivity prevails, since this congress will be financed by our own farmers, at their proposal”.
This organization, since its foundation on May 17, 1961, has represented the interests of the Cuban peasantry and has ensured that their rights are fulfilled.
