First commercial management center opened in Holguín

The commercial and business management center of Empresa de Correos, the first of its kind in Cuba, was inaugurated in the province of Holguín, where it will offer several services and promote the work of new economic actors in the region.

Pablo Julio Pla Feria, president of Correos de Cuba Business Group, explained on Thursday at the opening ceremony that the project achieves the effective linking of the socialist state enterprise and private management forms by integrating in a single establishment the institution’s own services complemented with what is provided by that society.

The initiative of the territorial division demonstrates its progress and commitment with the fulfillment of the current regulatory framework that allows establishing such alliances for the benefit of all parties, which represents an incentive to replicate it in the remaining provinces, he stressed.

Yoandri Zaldívar Caballero, general manager of the entity in the territory, pointed out that in the process of creating this unit participates the MSMC Galas Fénix SURL, dedicated to gastronomy, which established its offices in the same premises where the management center is located and thus strengthens its linkage.

Among its main services are the special DHL and EMS courier services, international and national, respectively, the marketing of goods online to the population and by economic contract to both state entities and individuals, as well as advertising and printing services, among others, he said.

The executive added that customers can acquire the offers of their choice through electronic payment by existing digital payment channels, which facilitates the monetary exchange and favors the development of the process of bankarization through which the country is going through.
