Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of the Republic, inaugurated social works in the Holguin municipality of Cacocum. Which was chosen to host the provincial celebration of the Revolution’s triumph.
The Political Bureau member also toured the Community Food Project in the La Agraria area, the first of its kind in the province. Also which will serve nine elderly people and one vulnerable young person. And the Expedicionarios del Corynthia semi-boarding school. So in which supports more than 198 mothers in the municipality.
Marrero Cruz also visited the family home that recently received support from the Solar Kit Marketing Program for Budgeted Sectors and the Rubén Batista Rubio Polyclinic. Moreover it serves more than 13,000 people and houses the only intensive care unit in the area.
Among other sites visited during the day, the head of government toured the Miguel González Intensive Garden. The Municipal Government headquarters, and December 2nd Square.
Also present on this tour were Joel Queipo Ruíz, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and first secretary in the province. And Manuel Francisco Hernández Aguilera, governor of the territory.
