Educational projects in Holguin promote productive linkages

The development of educational projects in Technical and Professional Education (ETP in the Spanish acronym). In Holguin seeks to generate an economic impact on the sector and the local economy. Through the establishment of commercial and productive linkages with state or private entities.

From the execution of programs that strengthened institutions in the province in terms of infrastructure and resources. The use of installed capacities and the labor training of students is promoted. Adela Rodríguez Bermúdez, municipal methodologist of TVE, explained to CNA.

Among these educational projects are “Illuminating the Future with Women’s Energy” and “Strengthening of the professional training process of young people and workers of TVE” promoted at the 26 de Julio Polytechnic, in the capital municipality.

Rodríguez Bermúdez pointed out that other centers are also working with the objective of consolidating their contribution to Holguin society. Including the José Martí Pérez Polytechnic and the Julio Antonio Mella School of Trades which, supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef). Elaborates didactic materials adapted to children with intellectual disabilities.

In Technical and Professional Education in Cuba, the productive teaching strategy encourages the strengthening of links with economic and service entities.
