
The president of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder for its Spanish acronym), Osvaldo Vento Montiller, checked in Holguin the situation of the sports facilities of this province to host and participate in the 60th National School Sports Games.
The tour began at the Fernando de Dios Buñuel hall, which will host the school and youth volleyball events, where he praised the quality of the repairs and maintenance carried out.
According to the Facebook profile of colleague Vladimir Marrero, Vento Montiller acknowledged the great effort made, highlighting the quality of the painting, the improvements in the roof and the lighting.
Inder checks in Holguin preparations for School Games
He urged to use the space, which is located in the middle of an Educational Complex, to turn it into a Pioneers’ Palace during the summer, which will start on July 1st, the date of the beginning of the school sports festival.
He also stated that alternatives can also be sought so that the people of Holguín can enjoy the Olympic Games in Paris through the giant screen in the hall.
Holguín will compete in 32 of the 36 sports included in the program of the School Games, as well as in several youth sports and in chess.
