The second day of the National Radio Festival continues its activities with the presentation of research works within the theoretical event, which takes place in the conference hall of the Pernik Hotel in the city of Holguin, the host province of the event.
The more than 200 participants, from early hours, propitiated the exchange of experiences expressed by José Grabiel Ramírez Cal, National Radio Award 2023 and Manuel Andrés Mazorra recognized with the same award in 2012.

This day captured the attention of radio artists with panels and lectures on topics such as “Audience and its segmentation in local radio… Who listens to us? That is the question posed by radio broadcaster César Hidalgo Torres, from Radio Angulo.
Another presentation dealt with “Production routines and participation in radio” by Silvia Albelo Medina, producer of Radio Rebelde.
The panelists continued enriching knowledge with topics such as “The environment: a pending subject… Experiences to take into account” by speakers Lisandra Gómez Guerra, from Sancti Spíritus and Zenaida Costales Pérez from Radio Rebelde.

In addition, “Musical culture and its diffusion in the Radio” by PhD. Otoniel Aguilera Vázquez, also from Radio Rebelde, was presented.
Dr. Felipe Vera Martínez, president of the National Association of Radio Broadcasters of Yucatán, Mexico, invited to the National Cuban Radio Festival, sent an encouraging message about the permanence of radio in all times and the need to continue adapting to new digital platforms.
