Xetid supports bankarization process in Holguín

The Defense Information Technology Enterprise (Xetid) in Holguin implements strategies to increase the use of electronic channels and contribute to the process of bankarization through training and advice on the use of various online payment platforms.

Félix Moreno Casanova, director of Xetid’s territorial division in Holguín, stated at a press conference that for this purpose, alliances have been created with the banks Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA) and Banco de Crédito y Comercio (Bandec), where personnel have been trained in the correct use of Enzona and Transfermóvil, payment platforms that offer multiple services to the population.

He also explained that they are working together with Joven Club and Desoft to provide this type of information to all the municipalities of the province, since a high level of computerization and preparation has only been achieved in the capital city, and thus increase the number of clients in the territory.

Moreno Casanova announced that among the entities that will soon provide services electronically through the Tickets application are the Ministry of Justice, BPA and the offices of identity card, immigration and foreigners, taking into account the results in the purchase of fuel which, since the first of July of this year, has served more than two thousand people.

He commented that among the services offered by the company with the aim of expanding computerization in the province are platforms for restaurants, online lodging payments and trips to the beach; and they will continue to develop applications aimed at making it easier for citizens to make purchases from the comfort of their homes.

Xetid is a company dedicated to the software, automation and communications sector that promotes technological progress and plays an important role in the process of bankarization that the country is going through.
