High school graduation ceremonies are taking place in the province of Holguin, where over two thousand students receive the diplomas accrediting them as graduates of the ninth graders.
These days it is common to hear in all the educational institutions of the country: “Happy graduation” because arriving to a superior step as a student means joy and at the same time of commitment, thus High school graduation has moved people’s hearts.

High school Lidia Doce Sanchez in the city of Holguín, is one of those with the highest enrollment, which graduated a total of 241 students, 135 of them will continue studying senior high, which represents 56.1 percent of the enrollment of this grade, 70 students decided for technical fields and 36 students decided to become skillful workers.
Although 2023 academic year has been complex due to the economic situation the island is going through and the shortage of teachers in many of these institutions for various reasons, the Provincial Education Directorate has devised strategies that allowed all students to pass each of the subjects and graduate with satisfactory results.
The occasion was also an opportunity to award the distinctions of “Best Comprehensive Student” and “Best Graduates”, outstanding teachers of the faculty and parents who maintained their unconditional support to the center were recognized, thus the joyfully event at the High school graduation.
The graduation ceremony concluded with hugs, applause, songs and a goodbye from those who will carry in their hearts the best memories of one of the most beautiful stages of life.
