Use of digital signature urged in Holguín

The Tax Administration Office, Onat, in Holguín, urges taxpayers to request the digital signature service through which they will be able to present all the requested documentation digitally.

Yanela Ruiz Ricardo, Onat’s Institutional Communicator, tells us that in Holguín out of 33 thousand 378 taxpayers only 109 of them are Micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSMEs) which are constituted as economic actors with legal personality, focused on the development of the production of goods and the provision of services; they may be either private or state-owned at the request of natural persons of Cuban nationality.

Ruiz specifies that, on occasions, taxpayers have encountered the obstacle that at the moment of requesting the application, the lack of electricity or connection has prevented the procedure, so she urges them to return to the facilities and not to deprive themselves of the advantages of this service of the digital era. Digital Signature is the best way.

The digital signature saves time, money, protects you against identity theft, eliminates paper documents and the risk of losing or destroying them. With this service it will be possible to file the affidavit electronically, interact with any entity and carry out the procedures from your phone, tablet or personal computer.

Onat and taxpayers, pioneers in the use of digital signature, affirm that the processes are more agile, equally valid and secure. By having legal certainty: it can be traced and the place, time and who made it can be known.
