Moa University Ready to Reopen

The Dr. Antonio Núñez Jiménez University of Moa begins its academic year on September 1st. With an enrollment of over 900 students in 16 undergraduate programs and 3 short courses.

Founded on November 1st, 1976, as the Higher Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. It adopted its current name in 2019 thanks to Decree-Law No. 369 of the Ministry of Higher Education. It was accredit in 2018 by the National Accreditation Board.
