The Heroes of July 26 Mechanical Company (Holmeca) is diversifying its production by taking on the assembly of electric tricycles at its facilities. In line with the country’s energy matrix transition policy.
Ramón Pifferrer Martínez, the company’s commercial director, informed the Cuban News Agency that the vehicles belong to the Vedca brand. The collaboration agreement is being implement through a foreign investor, which benefits the salaries of its workers.

Pifferrer commented that, through this work system, the payment is offset by providing battery-power vehicles for the company itself. Including six electric bicycles and others in the process of being acquire. With the aim of transporting workers in key positions in daily production, specialists, or essential personnel.
