In the province of Holguin, the arrival of solar kits continues for isolated communities in mountainous areas of eastern Cuba.
These shipments are part of an international collaboration project that seeks to bring electricity to hard-to-reach territories. Especially benefiting areas included in the Turquino Plan.
One of the main destinations is La Melva, a community located very close to the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park. Also where the solar panels will improve the quality of life of the inhabitants. Guarantee basic services in places where the conventional electrical grid does not reach.
Journalist Yordanis Rodríguez Laurencio reported live from the scene on the impact of this initiative. Which contributes to sustainable development and energy inclusion for families in the Holguin region.
