The 41st edition of the International Jazz Plaza Festival will arrive in Holguin for the first time from January 25th to February 1st. Bringing together both emerging and established musicians.
At a press conference, it was announced that artists from more than 19 countries will be part of this year’s program. Including France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the United States, Italy, Lithuania, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, Austria, Canada, Greece, and China.

The City of Parks will host concerts, workshops, and jam sessions with national and international artists. As well as tributes and activities of the Leonardo Acosta in Memoriam International Jazz Colloquium.
Víctor Rodríguez, president of the Organizing Committee, along with the provincial director of Culture and local artists. They shared their excitement about the event coming to Holguin. One of the country’s most prominent cultural centers.
The Holguin Symphony Orchestra, the century-old Hermanos Avilés Orchestra, the Reddi’s Happening Jazz Project, the Palabras al Viento Storytelling Company, and several Holguin institutions reaffirmed their participation in the Festival. Also in which will offer performances in more than 10 venues.
Since 2025, the event has been part of the International Alliance of Arts Festivals of the Silk Road. Thanks to the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cuba. So this integration reinforces the Festival’s role as a meeting place for cultures.
