Plenums Conclude in Holguin to Transform the Economy

Under the leadership of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. With the Political Bureau member and Secretary of Organization, Roberto Morales Ojeda. An intense series of Extraordinary Plenums of the Provincial Committees of the Party concluded in Holguin.

As a result of these meetings, concrete lines of action were agreed upon to transform the nation’s economic and social reality immediately and effectively. In strict compliance with the guidelines of the 11th Plenum of the Central Committee and the priorities of the revolutionary organization.

In this regard, among the main points of consensus reached was the need for a change in mindset. Regarding the work of the Party and the management of the economy. Likewise, the importance of dedicating less time to formal meetings and more to direct work on the ground. Closely monitoring production processes, was emphasized.

Similarly, emphasis was placed on strengthening unity through frank and constructive debate, free from any complacency. At the same time, food production was reaffirmed as the highest priority. Along with directing all efforts toward the grassroots level, where essential tasks are carried out.

Furthermore, it was agreed to generalize positive experiences that have proven their worth in practice. Another point of agreement was the imperative need to apply science and innovation in all sectors, as well as to adopt expedited mechanisms to streamline processes and resolve problems swiftly.

It should be noted that these agreements are framed within the Party’s historical missions: the economic battle. Also the struggle for peace, ideological firmness, and unity. Likewise, they lay the groundwork for work priorities in 2026. In which include strengthening unity, improving political and ideological work. Correcting economic distortions to revitalize the economy, and confronting negative trends present in society.

The Party called for transforming current challenges into new victories for the Revolution through popular mobilization and grassroots activism.

Meanwhile this path, precisely outlined in Holguin, reinforces the conviction that, through cohesive work and a practical and innovative approach. Current obstacles can be overcome and firm progress. Made in building a more prosperous and sustainable socialist society.
