Cubs celebrate their 45th win in the National Series

The Holguin Cubs defeated the Ciego de Avila Tigers 8-2 this Wednesday at José Ramón Cepero Stadium. With a record of 45-28, maintained their chances of reaching second place in the 64th National Baseball Series.

The Cubs, who have won all four of their games against the Ciego de Avila Tigers. Decided the game in the first two innings, scoring three runs against the starting pitcher and losing pitcher, Erisdel Martínez (0-9). Who pitched one inning, and two against the first reliever, Javier Griñán, who failed to record an out.
