Other activities involve socio-educational interventions in schools. Monitoring and oversight of the storage of medications and other substances, workshops in workplaces, meetings with patients rehabilitated from addiction, and training programs.
In Holguin, political, social, and mass organizations, as well as government structures, are working together. Primarily to increase protective factors and thus contribute to greater family involvement in the education and protection of their children against drugs.
With the arrival of a flight from Canada, via WestJet, the tenth operation of drug prevention and control measures began in Holguin, aiming for zero tolerance.
