This November 2nd, Cuba will begin winter time. At midnight, clocks should be set back one hour, to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st.
This change aims to make better use of sunlight in the mornings. As a result, sunrise and sunset will occur earlier.
The public is advised to adjust their clocks before going to bed on Saturday to begin Sunday with the new time. Winter time will remain in effect until spring. Also when summer time will resume with a new time zone change.
The transition from one time zone to another impacts not only consumption habits but also the daily rhythm of the population. A situation that, according to experts, requires careful management.
