Feeling Voices to Offer Grand Celebration Concert

The vocal quartet Feeling Voices, directed by pianist, composer, and singer Yariagnis Cordero, will celebrate its 14th anniversary this Saturday, August 9th. With the concert-show “Yo viviré…” (I Will Live…) in the Raúl Camayd Hall of the Eddy Suñol Theater Cultural Complex.

Under the direction of Yariagnis herself, the members of the vocal ensemble promise a varied repertoire. Accompanied by the contemporary dance company Codanza, soloist Lilian Gonzalez, and dancer Arletty Corella Peréz.

According to the quartet’s director, the approximately hour and a half-long concert will be a tribute to the group’s 14 years and to each person who has been part of it.

“We’ve had members like Betsy Remedios and Yaliesky Zaldívar. Also the founder of the group. We are proud to know that Feeling Voices was, for them, more than a job, a family,” Cordero explained.

“Rafael—the group’s singer—and I remain as founders. Now we’re joined by new members, Saray and Julito, whom we thank for their total dedication and passion for the group.”

The singer also recalled the joy of winning the City Award in 2012 and the “Singing for EGREEM” contest from the Recording and Publishing Company.

This Saturday, the quartet made up of Rafael Hernández, Saray Hernández, Yariagnis Cordero, and Julio Remedios will once again bring a wide variety of music to the Cuban city of parks, combining Cuban, jazz, pop, and Latin songs.
