Bucanero expects to produce 1,400,000 hectoliters of beer

Bucanero S.A. Brewery in Holguin expects to produce 1,400,000 hectoliters of beer by 2025. Which will mean an overfulfillment of the technical and economic plan.

According to Ediel Hechavarría Osorio, deputy director of the factory, the challenges are to comply with the quarterly plans. To invest more than six million pesos in improving infrastructure and in investments that contribute to the water supply systems and the implementation of renewable energy sources; and to continue improving the employee benefit programs.

Other goals are to double malt production compared to 2024, implement product innovations, which the population will learn about during the summer season, and consolidate the plant as the largest operation in the sale of dispensed beer in Latin America. With more than 350 thousand hectoliters of this product per year.

In 2024 Bucanero S.A. started up a new line of barrels which, together with the other of its kind, achieves a production capacity of up to 475 thousand hectoliters of beer.

The company currently has a portfolio that includes the beers Cacique, Mayabe, Cristal, Bucanero and Bucanero malt. As well as premium products Bucanero Max, Cristal Extra and Perla Negra malt. With the use of barrels and bottles, the company promotes the use of circular packaging, recycling and care for the environment.

The collective of this entity recently expressed its commitment to support the campaign “Honor Holguinero por un 26th en el 25th”, with which Holguin projects economic and social results to obtain the headquarters for July 26th, National Rebellion Day.
