The 5th International Convention, Cuba Salud 2025, closes its doors today after five days of discussions among some 5,000 delegates from 88 countries and more than 400 activities as part of the event.
The event, held at the Havana Convention Center and the Pabexpo fairgrounds. Began on the 21st and hosted, among other events, the 16th Health for All Trade Fair and the 2nd International Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel participated in the closing ceremony of the 16th International Health for All Fair. Dedicated this time to China and bringing together 263 companies, 142 of them from 37 countries.
Cuba Salud 2025 will conclude with the “Havana Declaration.” Which will outline the main health challenges facing the world in the coming years.
The event was sponsored by prestigious national and international organizations and its main objectives were to discuss public health management models at the global, regional, and local levels.
In addition, participants discussed strengthening health systems in the post-COVID-19 era and health-focused public policies. With an emphasis on adopting strategies that contribute to consolidating the “One Health” paradigm.
