Topics such as digitalization, banking and quality of services were analyzed in the presence of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Cuba, Oscar Manuel Silvera Martínez, during the annual work meeting of the Provincial Directorate of Justice in Holguin, corresponding to the year 2024.
The meeting was also attended by Joel Queipo Ruiz, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Holguin, workers from this sector and a representation of religious leaders and fraternal associations.
In order to raise the quality in the provision of services in the units that make up the notarial and registry activity, work was done on the adoption of measures for direct attention to the public.
The notarial service was provided uninterruptedly, assimilating high volumes of work, along with participation in methodological spaces, derived from the emergence of new legal figures that affected its function.
In the field of Civil Status registration activity, the 21 existing registration offices in the province use the Virtual Wellbeing Platform.
In the case of the municipality of Holguin, organizational measures were adopted to provide differentiated attention to the population’s online requests.
Currently, the civil registry activity has scanner devices to digitally preserve the registry entries and thus safeguard the historical memory of the Cuban nation.
In relation to the banking process, the notaries of the Property and Commercial Registry have QR codes for the EN ZONA and TRANSFERMOVIL applications intended for charging for services.
The annual balance of the Provincial Directorate of Justice in Holguin led to the analysis of the results of work last year as critical support to guide 2025 with the necessary corrections and renewed solutions and strategies that strengthen the achievement of objectives and projections.
