The Health and Beauty in Synergy event, in partnership with the University of Holguin, brought together women entrepreneurs from the province. To exchange and refine their business models in order to boost the local economy.
The event, which held its third edition this Tuesday at the Trovando café in the provincial capital. Stemmed from an initiative to understand how local beauty businesses emerged. Involving producers, distributors, and service providers in their market.
Natacha Doimeadiós Batista, organizer of the event and director of the Luna Nueva project. She explained to CNA that the gathering provides an opportunity for newly established businesses. To exchange ideas with established projects and also offers tools for expansion, legalization, finding potential clients, and creating commercial relationships.
She argued that these events boost the local economy. Due to the progress made by the private sector and its contribution to Cuba’s economic development.
Also this type of event fosters not only entrepreneurial activity itself, but also the potential of a region as businesses grow. So because it expands the services offered, knowledge, and legal and scientific support, the specialist noted.
Moreover the event featured a presentation by Vivian González, founder and director of Huellas Estética. Also who spoke about this branch of the smart beauty industry. While Natacha Doimeadiós offered an overview of the legalization of projects related to body care and wellness under the current legal framework.
