Americas Baseball Champions League, a Prelude to a Global Tournament

The third edition of the Americas Baseball Champions League  serves as a prelude to the tournament’s globalization. Organizers emphasized at a press conference on Monday.

The competition kicks off this Tuesday with a matchup between the Dantos de Managua. Participating for the first time, and the CTBC Brothers of Chinese Taipei. One of the most successful teams in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CBPL) with 10 titles.

Along with the teams from Chinese Taipei and Nicaragua. Teams from Cuba (Cocodrilos de Matanzas), the United States (Cane County Couguars), and the hosts, the Diablos Rojos, champions of the previous edition, will compete for first place.

Sponsored by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the Mexican League (LMB). The tournament will be played at Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium.
