A construction project will renovate the facilities at the Birán Historical Site. Located in the Holguin municipality of Cueto. With the aim of restoring heritage structures damaged by time and weather events.

The agricultural and energy sector encompasses the restoration of the orange grove. With the installation of an irrigation system and a photovoltaic system. Díaz Tizón emphasized that a critical aspect of the work is the monitoring of older buildings with ground settlement problems. Engineering solutions are being implemented to stabilize properties affected by subsidence.
Also the specialist noted that the company executes rigorous heritage projects subject to approval by the National Monuments Commission. With the aim of guaranteeing the comprehensive conservation of infrastructure with heritage or cultural value.
The construction work at the Birán Historical Site is part of the program of activities to commemorate the centennial of the birth of Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro Ruz, on August 13th, 2026.
