Holguin Announces Second Edition of “Heritage in a Click”

The Plaza de la Revolución Monumental Complex, Major General Calixto García Iñiguez. Located in Holguin, invites you to participate in the “Heritage in a Click” digital photography contest. Commemorating International Monuments Day, which will be celebrated on April 18th.

Now in its second year, the contest is open to all interested parties and is divided into a professional category. For photographers, communicators, designers, visual artists, and cultural heritage specialists.

 

The non-professional category is for amateurs, students, and the general public without formal training in photography or visual arts.

Moreover each participant may register in only one category and submit a maximum of three works. Photographs must be original and unpublished. Captured with a camera or mobile device, and may be in color or black and white. Only basic adjustments to light, contrast, and color are acceptable. As digital manipulations that alter the essence of the Holguin heritage depicted will not be permitted.

Images must reflect monuments, historical sites, monumental complexes, sculptural elements, or heritage spaces. Emphasizing their cultural, historical, identity-related, or symbolic value.

Some entries, along with personal information. Must be submitted via WhatsApp to 56044408 or 54091293 before April 5th.

Also they can be delivered to the offices of the Plaza de la Revolución Monumental Complex, Major General Calixto García Iñiguez.
