In response to the current situation of the National Energy System, the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa) has implemented a series of measures. To reduce energy consumption at its facilities, while ensuring the continuity of its essential services.
According to a statement from the entity’s Territorial Division in Holguin. These measures, in effect since February 5th and until the conditions that prompted them persist. Directly impact in-person customer service.
The company guarantees customer service in all municipalities of the province, provided the energy situation allows it. However, commercial units will operate under the following conditions:
Staff will be reduced. Air conditioning systems will remain off. Service will be provided during the usual hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Friday hours will be adjusted in coordination with local government agencies. These units will not be open on Saturdays. Telephone customer service channels will remain active with specific hours, until 5:00 p.m.
Telephone support services will be available as follows:
112: Commercial Management.
114: Repairs.
118: Commercial Information and Complaints.
Alternative Fixed-Line Telephony (TFA).
800 88888 for assistance with Transfermóvil and the MiTransfer wallet.
For mobile phone user support, the number 52542256 is available 24 hours a day.
The company advises that, due to reduced staffing, users may experience limitations in accessing these telephone channels.
The company recommends using digital channels. Therefore, Etecsa encourages the use of its digital platforms for managing procedures whenever possible.
Reports of landline and Nauta Hogar service interruptions can be made through the Online Services page or by sending an SMS to 111. Bill inquiries and payments, service top-ups, service status, and other services can be accessed through the Online Services portal (www.tienda.etecsa.cu).
