The province of Holguin has signed collaboration agreements. Between its educational institutions and agencies of the Central State Administration. With the main objective of guaranteeing higher-quality comprehensive education for students.
The agreement, provincial in scope and valid for three years. It marks a significant step in consolidating the link between the education sector and other areas of society.
In a meeting held in the provincial capital, the parties first reviewed the implementation of Decree-Law 364 of 2019. Also the legal instrument that governs technical and vocational education in the country.
During the analysis, strategic issues for educational development in the province were addressed. The current status of the annex classrooms. Spaces located in production centers that complement student practice.
Existing cooperation for teaching-production strategies and the job training of future technicians was evaluated. Another central topic of discussion was the high number of educational programs and training opportunities available in Holguin. Many of which are centered around the Pioneer Palaces. In this regard, the early placement of students in organizations and the importance of certification of skills upon completion of training programs were highlighted.
Moreover the culminating event was the official signing of the collaboration agreements. These documents establish the framework for joint work for a period of three years. A timeframe that, as emphasized, reaffirms the symbolism and significance of this alliance.
The signing is not merely a ceremonial act. But rather an executive tool to systematize and strengthen integration. The ultimate goal is clear: to consolidate a more robust educational system linked to the real needs of the province’s diverse socioeconomic sectors. Ensuring that Holguin students receive a more comprehensive education aligned with local development.
With this action, Holguin institutionally strengthens an educational model that seeks to transcend the classroom. Preparing new generations with a practical approach and a well-rounded profile. In line with national development strategies.
