The IV International Cybersociety 2025 Congress, organized by the Cuban Union of Computer Scientists (UIC), began today in Havana.
The four-day event, held at the emblematic Hotel Nacional, is honored to host information and communications technology professionals and experts from various countries.
It also provides an ideal space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices. Focused on the challenges and opportunities posed by the digital transformation in society.
The opening ceremony was attended by the island’s Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich. And the president and vice president of the UIC, Omar Correa and Tatiana Delgado, respectively.
“Cybersociety 2025 focuses on the most relevant advances in the national technological ecosystem in connection with global trends and practices. Promoting innovation, sustainability, and coordination between academia. Also the business sector, and communities,” Delgado stated.
These four days are organized with workshops, presentations, conferences, and technology fairs. Designed to foster open dialogue and generate alliances and commitments.
