The Integral Automatic Company (Cedai in the Spanish acronym) in Holguin is implementing various programs that promote energy efficiency in priority sectors in society, healthcare, and tourism.
As a leading specialist in process control and electricity, it is implementing various programs. The projects include the repair of machines, tools, and automation systems. As well as the modernization of equipment and the provision of comprehensive automation services for industries, buildings, IT, and communications.
Lisbette Azalia Guzmán Matos, director of the company, told the Cuban News Agency that the most in-demand service is specialized electricity. In which they build general distribution boards, responsible for balancing the load at the installed projects.
She highlighted the work carried out in the photovoltaic Parks. Where the electricity brigade certifies cash registers and conducts various electronics-related studies, which allow for fault detection.
Also she adds that they carry out other activities. Such as electrical system maintenance in provincial hospitals, the installation and monitoring of oxygen plants. And the incinerator system in the province.
Moreover she mentions the technological retrofitting applied to hotels’ low power factor capacitor Banks. Used to reduce losses and optimize electricity consumption. To this end, they are surveying the necessary equipment and gradually adapting modern technology to the old cabinets at all Gaviota facilities in the province.
