Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, held a meeting today with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping. As part of his official visit to the Asian giant.

At the end of the meeting, the signing of 11 cooperation documents was announced. Including those related to the Belt and Road Initiative, political consultations, practical cooperation, cultural exchanges, and the Global Security Initiative.
Díaz-Canel arrived in Beijing this Wednesday, leading a high-level Cuban delegation, for the second stop of an official tour of Asia.
The trip began last Sunday in Vietnam and is scheduled to end in Laos.
