The expert recalls that the average cost of a destination wedding is $28,000. But it’s not just the expense; it’s an investment, it’s the money allocated to personalization, quality of services, and exclusivity, she emphasized.

The average group size for a wedding destination is only 48 to 50 guests. This focus on a smaller, more intimate circle is key.

Sixty percent of couples who opt for a wedding destination assume all costs. This means they are in charge, the true architects of their special day.

Furthermore, 36 percent of couples planning weddings destination hire a wedding planner. This highlights the complexity and value of expert guidance.

Such data will facilitate networking in Cuba with various suppliers in the event and wedding industry, tour operators, and other interested parties.

And this interest is so significant that important industry figures, such as Mónica Restrepo, the director of Latin America (LATAM) for Bodas ABC and the director of the Forever Wedding Summit, have already confirmed their attendance at Expowedding in Havana.

Evaristo de los Santos, the creative director of ABC in the Dominican Republic, also joined the event. The Cuban authorities met them at the important Forever Wedding Summit.
