The group exhibition “Lente Verde” (Green Lens) of the La Manigua project opened at the El Pintorcillo gallery of the Alex Urquiola Provincial Library.
Comprised of more than 40 pieces, Lente Verde (Green Lens) is a modest compilation of photographs. That illustrate the inherent passion for nature felt by La Manigua. A group comprised of Holguin-based photographers Wilkier Cruz, Wency Rosales, Mandy Portelles, Elismar Medina, and Carlos Rafael Díaz.
La Manigua project was born about two years ago due to the thirst for experiences and contact with nature that united this quintet. Which includes both professional and amateur photographers.

Since the project’s inception, through social media, the group’s goal has been to share their photographic journey. Beyond showing landscape photos, to convey sensations and emotions through the lens. They not only aim to showcase Holguin’s sites but also to connect them with local stories.

This group of photographers, in addition to providing natural snapshots of their travels, also takes the message of the need to protect the environment to the forefront. Among their main premises is the protection and conservation of flora, fauna, and our heritage.
The Green Lens exhibition will be on display for a month at the provincial library. Where the public can appreciate the beauty of nature in all its splendor as seen through the lens of La Manigua.
