Holguin Polygraphic Industry Guarantees Various Productions

The Holguin General José Miró Argenter Graphic-Based Business Unit (Polygraphic) guarantees various productions through chain linkages and commercial agreements.

Among the production lines are the production of notebooks, books, newspapers, and goods generated through the circular economy policy. Such as ropes, shoe racks, and other items used by the Ministry of Education, Public Health, and society.

Carlos González Mulet, director of the entity, told the Cuban News Agency that the industry is immersed in an investment process aimed at modernizing the printing of the national press in the eastern region.

This process is fifty percent complete, has the necessary technology for its implementation. Also the start of color print runs is scheduled for next December, the director stated.

He highlighted the production of various goods, which have a significant impact on the economy of the center, made with waste from the main lines. Eighty percent of this waste was sent to raw materials and is now reused.

González Mulet added that there are links with various entities, such as Bucanero S.A., through which, based on inputs provided by the client, the required resources are produced.
