Honor to Fidel Castro with a cultural gala in Holguin

Plaza de la Marqueta was the setting for a moving political and cultural gala. Commemorating the birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

The performance of talents such as the renowned group Golden Voices and the distinguished singer Gladys María in a tribute filled with music, dance, and poetry. Marked another demonstration of affection and respect for the Comandante, who celebrates his 99th birthday this August 13th.

Dance students from the Raúl Gómez García Elementary School of Art and the Rodrigo Prats Lyrical Theater Academy in Holguin also attended. Delighting the audience with their talent and energy. Demonstrating the generational change in the Cuban performing arts.

The gala, directed by Holguin announcers Yamilka Arredondo and Ernesto Suárez, was a heartfelt tribute to Fidel Castro. Highlighting his legacy in the country’s culture and education.

In an atmosphere of solemnity and national pride, attendees celebrated the life and work of the eternal Commander in Chief.
