Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, inaugurated in the afternoon of this Friday the Technological and Industrial Scientific Park (NUCL3UM). A strategic project located at the University of Holguin.

In an initial but dynamic stage, the park seeks to become a territorial development instrument. Reducing gaps between municipalities and promoting entrepreneurship – public as private – in remote areas.

Although even in the process of legal consolidation and without definitive physical infrastructure (as spaces of the University of Holguin will be used, the park operates under a decentralized model. With prototype laboratories and natural alliances between public and private companies.

Marrero began his agenda in the province of Holguin with a tour of the El Cedral estate. A land that, until recently, was invaded by Marabú and currently became a model of food self -sufficiency.

Subsequently, the prime minister went to the social rehabilitation and reintegration center. Where he spoke with people and evaluated the conditions of the place.

Marrero insisted on the need to treat these people with sensitivity. Ensuring that these spaces not only offer shelter, but also opportunities to reinsert them to society.
