A Holguin brigade made up of directors of cultural institutions and the territory’s top cultural directorate arrived in Granma, precisely the Second Village of Cuba.
Iconic sites such as the House of Nationality; the Manuel Muñoz Cedeño Provincial Museum. The Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Birthplace Museum; the Green House, headquarters of the Andante Theater Group. The Provincial Center for Visual Arts; and the Wax Museum were the setting for cultural exchange and a tribute to the history of the city of Bayamo.
Yakelin Tapia, provincial director of culture, in an interview with Radio Angulo, stated, quoting our Commander Fidel Castro Ruz, that the history of Cuba cannot be written without the history of Granma. Which is why the Board of Directors of Culture chose to visit Bayamo on July 30th, Martyrs’ Day.
Tapia also stated that from this visit, whose main objective was to exchange experiences. They are returning to Holguin with the satisfaction of sharing with a network of institutions in the province of Granma. Whose heritage is of great value and at an outstanding level of conservation.
Reaching Bayamo, was the beginning of a group of exchange visits to other provinces, which began in the eastern part of the country. In the company of artists and intellectuals from the region. He also extended an invitation to every corner of Cuba to visit our province and learn about Holguin’s culture.
