Social Works Rehabilitated in Buenaventura for July 26th

A group of projects of economic and social interest are being rehabilitated in the town of Buenaventura, the capital of the municipality of Calixto García. In conjunction with the provincial event in Holguin for July 26th, National Rebellion Day.

Among the projects are painting, replacing electrical and sanitary networks, paving national roads and the central square. As well as improvements to the Nicodemus Regalado León Municipal Teaching Hospital. The Family Care System dining halls, and the aqueduct, among others.

Rodny Pérez Ross, the mayor of the province, told CNA that the investment program includes more than 150 projects. Such as the first phase of the sewer system in the town of Cabezuela. The Pediatrics ward, and the sterilization area of the Buenaventura hospital.

He emphasized that these investments will improve the quality of services to the population. Also continue to promote the socioeconomic development of a predominantly agricultural territory. And contribute to responding to the demands of voters in rural areas.

In turn, Leonardo Batista Pupo, First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, highlighted the paving of the main streets and the sanitation of the water and sanitation networks as high-impact efforts in response to the region’s problems.
