After the fourth and penultimate matches played this Wednesday. Three teams appear tied at the top of the “Jorge Francis in memoriam” second division tournament of the Provincial Baseball Series. Aspiring to the only ticket the event grants to the elite or first division league.

The tiebreaker system established by the regulations in the event that two or more teams finish with the same win-loss record stipulates that the first factor to be taken into account is the result between the teams involved.
If a leader is not found when applying this condition, the team with the most runs scored is called. If a tie persists, the team with the best earned run average in games played by each team is called, and finally, the best batting average in games between the teams involved is called.
The final sub-series will take place next Saturday, the 19th, when the Cueto Railway Team hosts the Banes Indians at Luis Alberto Rodríguez Stadium, and Rafael Freyre’s Navegantes host Frank País’s Lions at Mariano Camacho Stadium.
